Blue Aran has been providing professional sound and lighting equipment since 1995, catering for a massive range of events large and small. We have an extensive range of hire equipment available from our warehouse ready for your event. Whatever your needs we're sure we can provide a package to meet your requirements. We only use the best equipment, ensuring no compromise with quality or reliability, giving you a trouble free event.
To hire from us you must be able to provide two forms of Identification, which between them must include a photo of you, and your full time address. If you are not a permanent resident of the UK we are unable to provide hire services for you.

We require a refundable deposit for all hires. The deposit is taken to protect against any damage to the equipment and late return of the hire. The deposit will be refunded via the original payment method once the goods have been returned on time and in good condition. Any damages, shortages or late return fees will be deducted from the deposit. If the cost of these exceeds the deposit then we will issue a further invoice for payment.
Please Note: Refund of deposits paid by Credit or Debit card may take 3-5 working days to process, and Blue Aran cannot be held responsible for any charges incurred during this time. Please ensure you have sufficient balance available to cover the deposit.
Whilst the equipment is away from our premises, it's safekeeping is entirely your responsibility. You should ensure the equipment is stored in a safe location at all times. If storing in your house, we suggest you check if your home insurance covers the equipment whilst under your care. You must always follow any instructions provided by our staff or included with the equipment, in particular instructions relating to the safe use of equipment.
All out equipment is regularly maintained and tested to ensure it is always in full working order, and all electrical items are regularly PAT tested to ensure they are 100% safe. Due to the large number of hire items we have, we are not able to provide individual certificates for each item, but all items will have individual dated stickers to show they have been tested.
We have appropriate public and product liability insurance to cover our hire equipment, and also fully serviced hires (where our technicians setup and run the equipment for you). Our public liability insurance does not cover the hirer, or negligence by the hirer, therefore if you are hiring from us, and running your own business, such as a mobile disco, you should have your own public liability insurance to cover you operating our equipment - as the equipment is covered, but your actions are not.
