Q.
Can I try the goods
out before I buy?
|
A.
We
do not sell goods on a trial basis. If you are unsure about
selecting the correct product for your needs, please call our sales
office for advice, or to arrange viewing/testing of the item you
require at our warehouse. The majority of the goods we sell are for professional or business use, business to business transactions are excluded from the distance selling regulations, we may accept returns of items purchased on a business to business nature at our discretion. For consumers we will where required comply with the distance selling regulations, but please take note of the following guidelines.
Whilst we comply with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which
allow online/mail order consumers a 14 day cooling off perior after
making a purchase, during which you can change you mind and cancel the
purchase. This period of time IS
NOT FOR YOU TO USE/TRY OUT the goods for free. It is for you to inspect the goods and check they are what you wanted,
the idea is to give you a similar opportunity to assess the goods as if you were in a shop viewing them. If you
change your mind, or made a mistake and ordered the wrong goods,
or feel that the goods you receive are significantly different from how
you perceived them to be: DO NOT USE THE PRODUCT, DO NOT UNSEAL DOCUMENTATION, DO NOT UNSEAL ANY SOFTWARE.
YOU MUST INFORM US WITHIN 14 days that you wish to cancel your purchase. You should obtain a return number, and then
YOU MUST RETURN THE ITEM TO US WITHIN 14 DAYS of cancelling the sale, in
suitable condition. You have a duty of care to ensure you look after the items and either return them to us, or make them
available for collection. Please note that if you choose to have the goods collected, we are permitted to make a charge for the collection,
you will normally find that it is cheaper for you to return the goods yourself.
We
recommend you wrap the item to protect it in transit, and minimise any
damage to the outer packaging. Failure to return the item in
suitable condition may result in us being unable to refund the full value of
the item. Products that are copyrighted, and/or licensed (such as computer software) must remain sealed.
